Domaine Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy

This family domaine is based to the north of Sancerre, in Mambray, a tiny hamlet not far from Verdiny and Chavignol. The 14 hectares are carefully managed by Pascal and his wife Nathalie, alongside Nicolas’s widow Sophie. The soil, which is a mix of clay and chalk, typical for the region, gives a wonderful, minerally, fine-boned Sauvignon Blanc. The estate’s reputation is built on both red and white cuvées which are managed sustainably and vinified separately to produce unique and characterful wines.

Paul Pernot founded the domaine in 1959, with about 10 hectares, most of which had been in the family for almost 200 years. Today, his sons Paul and Michel manage 20 hectares of vineyards, of which 15 are in the commune of Puligny-Montrachet, including two grand crus - Bâtard Montrachet and Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet, as well as top premier crus: Les Champs-Canet, Les Folatières, Clos de La Garenne and Les Pucelles.
